Independence Day Celebrations are not limited to fireworks on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. An annual parade in the Town of Duck, NC, kicks off at 9 am on the 4th of July. This parade is very dog friendly. In addition, a Patriotic Dog Walk within the "Town of Duck Annual 4th of July Parade" has been customary.
Patriotic Pampered Pets, Big and small, will be sporting red, white & blue, walking and wagging, riding in wagons, riding in doggie strollers, and several creations you don't want to miss.
Patriotic Pets, both local and vacationing dogs, have walked in this special 4th of July Parade. Historically, registration for dogs to walk in the Town of Duck Annual 4th of July Parade has been at Outer Barks.
Please check recently posted social media (June 26 at 5:25 PM) by following the Outer Barks link above. Update: New post Calling Patriotic Dogs today (July 3rd, 2022).
