Visit OBX Pet-Friendly Colington Island!

 

"Sound View" Colington Island, NC 
Colington Island is an area in Dare County and is  west of The Town of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Two small bridges on Colington Road access Colington Island. The Village of Colington Island is very close to area attractions; please see Outer Banks Pet-Friendly Places .

Being connected to the west of the Outer Banks barrier islands, Colington Island is surrounded by brackish sound waters. Due to the islands' location, there are converging areas of the Albemarle Sound, Croatan Sound, Currituck Sound, and Roanoke Island Sound.

The Village of Colington Island has a mix of year-round, second homes and vacation rental homes. In addition, multiple neighborhoods, including a gated community, provide numerous Pet-Friendly Vacation rental options.

There are several Restaurants, a Pizzeria, a Seafood Market & shopping through the Village. In addition, there is a gas station, Churches and things you would expect to find in a small Village, except a Post Office. Since there is no Post Office, all addresses will reflect a Kill Devil Hills, NC address.
