Dune Hike at Jockey's Ridge State Park

 

Hiking up the Ridge with a Jockey's Ridge State Park Ranger will allow you to learn more about this amazing State Park. The view from the top of the Ridge is remarkable, allowing views of the Roanoke Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. The diversity of the Parks vegetation, trees, wildlife, birds, and more are prominent at this height on the Ridge.

The meeting point to join this guided Dune Hike is the 
Pavilion South of the Visitor Center Parking at the main Dune Access.

Dogs must be on a leash not to exceed six feet in length. In addition, you must clean up after your pets. You will find a free poop bag dispenser located at the entrance of the Dune Access near the Pavilion.
