Sunset on the Still Waters of the Outer Banks

The Outer Banks of North Carolina abounds with places to go and things to do and see.

The Atlantic ocean waves to you, the gulls sing and swoop in the warm ocean breeze. The seaside of the Outer Banks bustles with people and wildlife the whole day long.

But as the day unwinds, the excitement of the Outer Banks shifts from the busy oceanfront adventures to the slower side of the  peninsula. The sound side of the Outer Banks become the focus of attention as the the sun sinks, casting shadows of spectacular color and reflections  across the waters as far as the eye can see.

This is the perfect time of day to explore the numbers walking trails through out the OBX with your pampered pet.
