2020 Comes to an End

As 2020 comes to an end, Celebrations will come alive at the midnight hour to welcome in the new year.

You may see and hear fireworks and cheers. The sound of pots and pans banging, horns, and all sorts of sounds will fill the night with excitement.

Looking back at blessings and things to be thankful for, including our outstanding pampered pet family members, we need to ensure that pets are secure and comforted during this loud and exciting time.

Have a wonderful New Years' Eve. May many blessings come your way. God Bless America.

Cooking Pampered Pet Style

The rise of Cooking during Covid-19

Cooking has become a much more popular subject since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. People who frequented the restaurants daily and even weekly date night are now fending for themselves at home in the kitchen.

The decline of indoor dining at restaurants has hurt more than just the restaurant's pocketbook. The social structure of America is grasping for connection and cookbooks.

Cooking kitchen tips are now prized knowledge to be shared.
Thanks to the internet, current information is at your fingertips.

Another popular trend is cooking for pampered pets that are part of your family. Like human processed food at the grocery store, pet food is also loaded with chemicals to extend shelf life. Some people are searching for healthier choices.

Pampered Pets Guide is going to be adding cooking tips and recipes for your and your pet. Being aware that some kitchen tips work and some leave us scratching our heads, Pampered Pets Guide will try before posting.

In addition to kitchen tips, recipes posted will concentrate on Pet Treats that Humans can eat, cooking for the whole Family.

Fireworks

Pet owners, mark your calendars. Fireworks will soon light up the sky in the town of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Please make sure all pets are secure and comforted during this time. Excitement for humans is sometimes scary for our pets.

As the cold winter breezes and fluttering leaves remind us all that Christmas is near. The town of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, has big plans. Having forfeited the annual fireworks on the 4th of July, 2020, due to the issues surrounding Covid-19, fireworks are about to explode.

Thursday, December 17th, 2020, at 7pm, the night sky will light up, celebrating the 117th Anniversary of the first flight achieved by Orville and Wilbur Wright, the fathers of aviation. The location of the fireworks will be at the Avalon Pier.

If you plan on watching in person, please observe all safety Covid-19 suggestions for everyone's safety. The town of Kill Devil Hills does plan on streaming the event live on Youtube. This links to the town's official announcement: https://www.kdhnc.com/DocumentCenter/View/12801/Annual-KDH-Fireworks-Event-2?bidId=  This link also includes the towns Youtube address to watch from the warm safety of your home.

Be Safe, Be Happy, and God Bless us All.

Have you ever notice that your pet watches you all day? They will sit by your feet on your lap or beside you, as long as they are close to you. They will Fallow you from room to room as if you played a game of following the leader. A pet's way of showing love is silent and steadfast. They haven't the words as humans to have any miscommunications. They always act as if they care and appreciate you for who you are. Wouldn't the world be so wonderful if only we could learn from our gentle pet friends, the way to love and understanding. Words are so powerful in every form. When we write, we must always be aware of the tone or possible miscommunication. When we speak, not only the tone but the volume of speech can be misinterpreted. I think that might be why there are classes in communication; for humans, that is. Animals don't have the problems that we have. Not only miscommunication but false or misleading information is a problem today. There seems to be an information war going on in the world as a whole. It is essential always to believe in yourself and not everything that you read or hear. You control your thoughts. Again I emphasize the power of words. I praise the silence and I hope that we learn as humans to feel with our hearts and learn from our pet companions and friends.
