There are 29 public beach accesses in the town of Kill Devil Hills, NC and of those, 19 have fixed-stand lifeguards. There are no fees associated with to use of these access.
However, to have a Wedding with Pets, you must observe the Beach Assess Pet Laws.
§ 94.06 ANIMALS ON THE BEACH.
Between May 15 and September 15 of each year, no dogs shall be permitted on the public beach between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. unless being used to aid a handicapped person.
At all other times, no dogs shall be permitted on the public beaches except upon a leash and under the control of owner or handler.
Kill Devil Hills is a very Pet Friendly area of the Outer Banks & the reason for the time restrictions is for the safety & well being of your pet. Heat Prostration can Kill, Please be aware of your pet’s environment & keep lots of cool fresh water on hand.
