Today is Friday, July 3rd, 2009 and starting at 9am Rain or Shine will mark the beginning of the 5th Annual Town of Duck's 4th of July Parade!
The one-mile parade route is the same annually and begins at the corner of Duck Road (NC12) and Scarborough Lane.
The route follows Scarborough Lane towards the ocean, turns left onto Ocean Way, and then heads down Christopher Drive ending back at Duck Road (NC12).
If you are attending the parade, please arrive early so you can get a good spot on the parade route. Remember, NO PART OF THE PARADE IS ON DUCK ROAD (NC 12).
Additionally, there will be a section for our canine friends sponsored by Outer Barks. Last year over a 100 dogs walked in the Town’s parade and sported their patriotic gear!
The event welcomes dogs & their parents to participate. For more information please contact Outer Barks located at 1171 Duck Road, in the Scarborough Lane Shops, in Duck, NC.
