December 6th 2008 at 11am was the start of the Town of Manteo's Annual Christmas Parade.This year, Manteo Marine, Inc. donated the use of a decorated boat to be used as a float for "Elizabeth R and Company", the resident professional theater company for Roanoke Island Festival Park.
The company star is Miss Barbara Hird, Actor/Singer and the star of "Elizabeth R" The International Hit One-Woman Show.
Harley, a Roanoke Island resident Husky, chauffeured members of the ER Company, well that is with the help of his human Mom "Wendy" & Dad "Bruce". Harley decorated with his big red bow sat warmly in the tow vehicle & encouraged his Mom to throw candy.
Harley did such a good job we are sure he will be asked to be in next year’s Annual Christmas Parade.
