Floyd was a 6 year old neutered male Bassett Hound that had two families before finally finding his forever home, in Manteo on Historic Roanoke Island. Floyd was a special needs boy, who had been diagnosed with Lymph sarcoma, (cancer of the lymphatic system).
Floyd was chosen by the Outer Banks SPCA to grace the cover of the very first Outer Banks SPCA Outer Banks Pet Calendar, which will be available at area retailers during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Floyd was professionally photographed by Walter V. Gresham III Photography. Floyd passed away on November 7th, 2008 and he will be greatly missed by his forever home. He had so much love to share. Floyd will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
