If you read the "Models Needed" blog,

and are planning an Outer Banks Pet Friendly weddings and you want the details, here they are:

1. Once you contact the Pampered Pets Guide by e-mail you will be contacted to set up a date and time for a commercial shoot.

2. You, Your soon to be spouse and pet(s) will be asked to sign a Model Release Form. This means that you are modeling for the Pampered Pets Guide and all of the photographs taken are owned by the Pampered Pets Guide.

3. You will be professionally photographed by Seaside Photography with Vol. 7 of the Pampered Pets Guide.

4. One image from your shoot will be used to create a blog to share your story with our blog readers.

5. The same one image will also be forwarded to the Pampered Pets Guide Corp. Board to make a final choice as to which image will be used in the 2010 Outer Banks Bride magazine as the Pampered Pets Guide ad.

Rabies Clinic Reminder Last Day!

Outer Banks SPCA Dare County Animal Shelter

Today is the last day of the Rabies Clinic sponsored by the Outer Banks SPCA, operators of the Dare County Animal Shelter, located at 1031 Driftwood Drive in Manteo, NC on Historic Roanoke Island.

The time for todays last clinic is from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Cost = $5.00 for one year shot.

2 Outer Banks Pet Events Today!

The World Famous, 10th Annual "Yappy Happy Hour!" is held at Outer Barks, located at 1171 Duck Road, in the Scarborough Lane Shops, in Duck, North Carolina.

This Annual, Weekly, Outer Banks Pet Event is held every Wednesday through September 9th, 2009. The schedule will change during the spring & fall of the year.

This years Yappy Happy Hour! will be from 4pm - 6pm each Wednesday in season.

This family fun pet event includes complimentary treats such as frozen Doggie Daiquiris & Arf D’ouevres for your pampered pet. There will also be (refreshments and munchies) for the humans inside the store at the same time.

Models NEEDED

In addition to being members of the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, the Pampered Pets Guide is also a member of the Outer Banks Wedding Association. Pet Friendly Weddings are quickly becoming the new trend. In fact 70% of families in the US have dogs and, according to the American Kennel Club, nearly 20% of dog owners are including their dogs in their wedding plans.

The Pampered Pets Guide supplies the Outer Banks Wedding Association with up to date Outer Banks Pet Friendly Information. The Pampered Pets Guide article this year "Can I Come Too?" (Pet Friendly Weddings) appears in this years Outer Banks Bride magazine.

You can order a Free copy of the Outer Banks Bride online from the Outer Banks Wedding Association. 

We also advertise in the Outer Banks Bride magazine to help couples planning an Outer Banks Pet Friendly Wedding find all of the information they will need to plan their special day.

The Pampered Pets Guide seeks Engaged Couples with Pets who are planning an Outer Banks Pet Friendly Wedding to be our models for next years ad in the Outer Banks Bride magazine. If you are planning an Outer Banks Pet Friendly Wedding and would like to Model for us please contact us.
